ARCHEOGUIDE (Augmented Reality-based Cultural Heritage On-site GUIDE) is an IST project, funded by the EU, aiming at providing a personalized Virtual Reality guide and tour assistant to archaeological site visitors and a multimedia repository and information system for archaeologists and site curators. The system provides monument reconstructions, ancient life simulation, and database tools for creating and archiving archaeological multimedia material.
